In addition to the generic FME feature attributes that FME Workbench adds to all features (see the chapter About Feature Attributes), this format adds the format-specific attributes described in this section.

The I3S writer supports two types of scene layers: i3s_3d_object and i3s_terrain_mesh. In FME Workbench, one of these options must be selected when adding the writer feature type to a workspace.

i3s_3d_object

This layer type contains distinct 3D objects, such as buildings and bridges. These features are placed on the existing terrain or ellipsoid in the scene viewer.

i3s_terrain_mesh

This layer type contains a single mesh, replacing the existing terrain in the scene viewer. A typical source of data for this layer type would be a DEM raster which has been converted to a mesh. This layer type does not support feature attributes.
